Ag-ventures in gravel

A ride through Montgomery County's Agricultural Reserve

The weather was wonderful over the holiday weekend, so I managed to get out for a 70 miler through Montgomery County, Maryland's Agricultural Reserve to the currently closed White's Ferry on Saturday. There's a short stretch of gravel on River Road between White's and Edwards ferries through several sections of forest and farmland. And then I managed a delightful 50 miler out to Olney with the Managing Partner on Monday. Absolutely wonderful. Any time I can get in 120 miles with over 5,000 feet of climbing is a good weekend.
